This is a blue bus that stops in front of each of the airport terminals. It taxes aprox. 30 min. There is a bus every 6-8 min and it costs 4,05 EUR. You can pay with Visa on the bus. Get off at Plaça Catalunya and then take the metro (green line L3) direction Canyelles. After 2 stops get off at Diagonal.

Once at Diagonal stop, look for the Diagonal/Pau Claris exit which is the closest to the apartments, and once on the street walk up Passeig de Gracia across Avinguda Diagonal. The first street on the right is Carrer Bonavista and we are at number 4. See map enclosed.

Train     (back to top)

There is a train station at the Terminal 2 of the airport. If you arrive to Terminal 1, there is a bus that takes you to the train station. The train goes directly to Barcelona. It takes aprox. 24 min. There is a train every 30 min. and it costs 2,60 EUR if you buy a single ticket, but you can buy a day pass* (T-Dia, 5,50 EUR) or 10-trip ticket* (T-10, 7,20 EUR). At the station there are ticket machines where you can buy the tickets with cash or credit card. Get off at Passeig de Gracia and take the metro (green line L3) direction Canyelles. 1 stop and get down at Diagonal.

Once at Diagonal stop, look for the Diagonal/Pau Claris exit which is the closest to the apartments, and once on the street walk up Passeig de Gracia across Avinguda Diagonal. The first street on the right is Carrer Bonavista and we are at number 4. See map enclosed.

*These tickets integrate all transportation in Barcelona, train, metro, tram and bus (except Aerobus and tourist bus). In case of the day pass you can take any metro, bus or tram for free during the day inside Barcelona’s area. With the 10-trip ticket, every time you validate the ticket you have 1h15min to change to other means of transportation for free inside Barcelona’s area. You can use the ticket with more than 1 person at a time as long as you remain together the whole trip.

Taxi     (back to top)

There are taxi stops in front of each terminal. Total cost is around 35-40 EUR. More and more taxis accept credit cards nowadays. If they do, they display it with a sticker on the rear passenger window. Ask the driver first! The time depends on the traffic, so it’s difficult to guess a time to get to the apartments, but it would be something between 25 and 45 minutes. Click here to see the official taxi fares.

By airplane to Girona Airport

By car from the north/Girona     (back to top)

Once you cross the border with France, you are driving on the AP-7 heading for Barcelona.

When you have passed the toll station and exit 13, you will have a choice between 2 highways. Take C-33 direction Barcelona Airport during 13 km and then the name will change to C-58. Keep following Barcelona Rondes, until you see the option B-10  heading Ronda Litoral.

Take B-10 heading Ronda Litoral, and continue during around 4 km until the exit Plaça Glories, which you should take.

After about 1 km, you will get to a kind of elevated roundabout, and once you have driven over it, at the traffic light you are in Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes.

Follow this street during 13 crossings. The streets you are going to cross are:

1. Padilla

2. Lepant

3. Marina (bullfighting plaza on your right).

4. Sardenya

5. Sicilia

6. Napols

7. Roger de Flor
